How to free make ringtone, text tone, alert for iPhone 13/12/11?
Prepare: Free download Ringtone Maker Converter – Aiseesoft Audio Converter(for Windows, for Mac). Install and launch the program.
Step 1: Add music or video to the program
Press on “Add File” button to add music or video that you want to make ringtones from to the program. You can simply drag & drop your music or video files to the software.
Step 2: Set M4R format
Click on “Profile” drop-down, and choose “M4R – iPhone Ringtones (*.m4r)” as the output format from the General Audio” category.
Step 3: Clip you music
Press on “Clip” button in the top menu to clip your music segment.
Click on “Play” button to listen the music and find the part you want. Drag and drop the time slider to set desired music clip. You can also create ringtone by setting “Start” and “End” time point according to the time shows on the right side of the time slider.
The Following is Very Important!!!
Make Sure to double the “Duration” length. For example, if you want to make ringtones, and you choose the desired part for 40 seconds, extend the end time until the “Duration” if 80 seconds that is 1 minutes and 20 seconds. Due to Aiseesoft Audio Converter trial limitation , only by this way, you can convert the full desired length to be your ringtones.
Aiseesoft Audio Converter trial version limitations are:
- For the more than 5 minutes file, you could only convert 5 minutes of it
- For the less than 5 minutes file, you could only convert half of it.
Note:
Ringtones shall be no longer than 40 seconds. The time length of text tones is in 2-5 seconds. The time length of alerts is 5-30 seconds.
Step 4: Start Convert
When everything is set, hit on the “Convert” button in the bottom right. The registration window will pop up. Click “Order Later” to start convert.
Step 5: Add the .m4r file to iTunes 12
In iTunes, move to “Tones” section, then click on “File” -> “Add File to Library” to add the .m4r file to iTunes. The ringtone will automatically be added to the “Tones” library in iTunes.
Step 6: Sync the ringtone to iPhone.
Connect your iPhone to computer, then sync it to iPhone as a ringtone or text tone. Enjoy!
